A sacred space for transformation through Vedic wisdom, breath, and body. Founded by Lora McKnight & Katie Keane, lovers of Vedic Wisdom ready to share it with the world. Join us for Vedic Meditation with Lora, and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) & Yoga with Katie.
Lora and Katie have been friends for over a decade, working closely together in a variety of spiritual communities. In the past 5 years they have been focused intensely on upgrading their knowledge around vedic wisdom and philosophy. Sharing their love for Vedic Wisdom and tradition they work together to create a small, slow-growing circle of seekers, meditators, movement-makers, yogis, witches, workers, and wanderers.
The Cicada Collective is rooted in the rhythms of rest, reflection, and re-enchantment. Through shared practices, like seasonal book studies, Vedic journaling, embodied movement, and community calls, we weave together a life where awakening is communal, not just individual.
We look forward to welcoming you to our song!
I am Katie Keane, aka Hemlock, A Leo Sun, Aquarius Ascendant, Aquarius Rising: The Hype Man You Desire.
My Work as a Yoga Teacher and artist centers around the tactile experiences of embodiment, art, and the restorative power of plants. I am pulled to the practices of yoga and mediation through lived experiences and human-divine connections. I practice yoga and meditation to come fully into oneness with my Self: a coil of divine play that allows me to be a parent, grandparent, teacher, and friend authentically and joyfully.
My magical superpower is childlike enthusiasm woven with my years of life experience. As a teacher and astrologer my intention is to empower sojourners to be their own cauldron of transformation.
I’m Lora McKnight - a Vedic Meditation teacher, mother, partner, and sacred space holder in Pittsburgh, PA. Since 2021, Vedic Meditation has been the foundation of my inner transformation and my way of engaging with the world with more grace, presence, and ease.
Now, I teach meditation as a daily practice for rest, clarity, and reconnection with the self. I am excited to share this effortless technique with others ready to slow down, soften, and return to themselves.
Stillness is a birthright, rest is a form of resistance, and meditation is a powerful tool for healing. You don’t have to earn peace - you can simply sit and receive it. There’s ample space for your wholeness.
Let’s meditate together.
